We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Coaching 4 Christ, a faith-based sporting organisation in Northern Ireland.

The organisation's youth academy, based in Ballymena, includes 250 players in different age groups from U6 to U17.

Coaching 4 Christ Coach Rodney Weir said: "C4C was formed in 2004 with a vision to see lives and communities transformed by Christ, through sport. Simply C4C utilises the method of coaching sport (primarily football) to connect with people and deliver a safe environment in which they can attain a sense of belonging, feel the warmth of a family and have hope instilled into their lives. We are a faith-based organisation which believes in three core values of operation: commitment, excellence and unity.

"These values have become the backbone of this multi-faceted organisation and are a fundamental part of the unique DNA system. We want to see young people develop as players on the pitch but also as individuals off it. Our primary method of delivery is through football coaching and this has been the foundation from which the organisation has flourished."

C4C as the umbrella organisation has several different operational components which operate throughout the community.

  • Coaching4Christ Youth Academy (200 players per week)
  • Community Schools Coaching   (1,250 people per week)
  • Community Summer Camps ( 2,000 people annually)
  • Project 206 (C4C's international outreach project, in 16 countries across the world)
